  August 6, 2019 - Slow ox in the cellar for 3 hours, followed by an hour in the decanter. Nose of cherries, iodine and seaweed. Lots of cassis, and red cherry, with only a hint of forest floor and a slight bit of oak. Tannins still evident, but in the background. Fruit was still going strong. This was a fabulous showing for a 37 year-old Bdx, especially one that so many reviewers have said was overwhelmingly tannic at age 20 and 25.
