  August 7, 2019 - I expected to like this much more than I did and perhaps it was simply shut down, an odd bottle, or me on the particular day - but I found this a good but not compelling Le Mont 1ere. Given what's written about it and my general experience with Le Mont 1eres, I'd be surprised not to love this. It's very good - deep honeyed apricot - but usually Le Mont 1ere has plenty of depth and grandeur.

  8/7/19, 6:47 PM - They usually do show quite well young - based on how highly I generally regard the sweet Le Monts and the notes that others have posted I think I might have had a weird bottle or not given it enough time (or maybe it was me!). I'd like to try this again. I would be so surprised if this doesn't turn out wonderfully - because it should.
