  August 11, 2019 - Decanted an hour before lunch and consumed with roast chicken dinner. Noticeable bricking on the rim indicating some age but otherwise looking in fine form. Still plenty of fruit on the nose as well as the palate. Silky smooth on the palate with an initial hint of the alcohol present (14.5%) but this was not noticeable thereafter. Medium finish.
  
  A lovely wine that is drinking well now and I would suggest will remain in fine form for a few years to come.
