August 26, 2019 - The nose is a bit harsh with some trace of violets. Nice dark fruit, black cherries, pepper. It is starting to become unbalanced. The acidity is somewhat harsh and not in balance with the fruit and sweet tannins. Finishes long, but again a bit too acidic. Overall, palatable but that’s it. Drink soon. The acidity will become intolerable in the next year or so.
