    September 2, 2019 - Not sure what was going on with this bottle. I remember seeing this at a local wine shop for $275 as it was touted as greatness. Upon opening, the nose of funk was so strong I thought it was a bad bottle.

    After letting it open up, it was approachable but not good at all. Reminded me of a northern Rhône vs Pinot noir. There wasn’t much there to remark about.

    Tried again the next day and it did not improve at all. Very disappointing showing here. I had several bottles of the 2011 eola amity and they were all solid offerings.

    9/5/19, 6:04 PM - Surely what you saw was a different bottle from this; I got them for $25. I'd also say that it's a lighter style, but definitely varietally correct, based on the 3 bottles I've had.

    9/6/19, 5:40 AM - I wondered if I was wrong on the bottle I saw. It was years ago when it was on store shelves. Appreciate the clarification. Regardless of price tag. This was an undesirable bottle.
