September 5, 2019 - Monthly Tasting at Wine Wizards (Wine Wizards Stockton): Have bought this blend in previous years and this vintage is similar, a great value at $12. Spicy and complex, with ample acidity a weeknight red, that will work with anything. Will improve with time but nice now. It is an blend: 40% Barbera di Monferrato, 25% Barbera d’Asti Cappellatta, 25% Barbera d’Asti, 10% Bonarda (Charbono). Great value

10/24/19, 6:44 AM - So I like this for weeknights, wish my price had matched yours but support your local wine merchant, etc I guess, sunk cost at this point. With the tariff they are going to be in a mad scramble to maintain affordable EU wines. Cheers
