  August 30, 2019 - Opaque purple in color, this wine showed roasted, blackberry liqueur, iron, white pepper and baking spices on the nose. The mouth feel was supple and added elements of grilled meats and plums. The finish was long and focused with the softening tannins and acidity perfectly complimenting the fruit and secondary tastes. 14.5% abv.
  
  Purchased for $35US, this wine is in a really good place right now. Decanted for 2 hours before returning it to the bottle, this wine was the WOTN of 4 shared with friends over dinner.
