  September 7, 2019 - When I first got this bottle it was a very elegant example of a California fruit bomb, that while delicious, didn't have a ton of complexity.
  Fast forward five years and some of the baby fat has been shed and the underlying herbal qualities are really starting to sing and become more pronounced.
  Nose was full of rich red and blue fruit, with blackberries, blueberry coulis, a touch of mint, eucalyptus and cassis. The palate mirrored the nose in tasting notes, with full body, medium acid and very, very fine grain tannin. A really excellent bottle that's just starting to round into form.
  I'm going to wait at least three more years on my 13, which was a more austere vintage.
