  September 9, 2019 - Smooth black chocolate colour with a bright purple rim. Aroma of pepper, old oak, shrubs and blackcurrant. Full body, chocolaty tannin, balanced acidity. Plum, dark chocolate, blackberry. Smooth, sweet undertones, long finish. Fruit is a bit muted, but against a wonderful background of tannin and oak. Drinking well now, can certainly see it improving over the next few years. The Bluegrass Shiraz is having some good vintages, the 17 was fantastic.
