September 11, 2019 - Very pale red with low optical density and medium specular reflectivity. Aromas of cherry and cola dominate, with a lighter note of roses and light, sweet earth. Light in body and fresh acidity, with a juicy texture and little tannin. Not dense and sappy, more a of thin transparent type of structure. Flavours on the attack are of spicy cherry cola. This is replaced by tart juicy cherry at midpalate, and quickly fades into a short finish of tart, bright fruits and cherry pits. Medium intensity, low complexity.

Fresh, juicy wine that is value-driven. About the bare minimum required here to be recognizable, entry-level, Pinot Noir- elements are all here, but without any depth. Very enjoyable, really, with a cut above average, generic wine, but just don't expect a soulful, expressive experience. Ready to drink now.
