  September 2, 2019 - Medium ruby with a hint of purple. Strong aroma of smoke, along with black pepper, black cherry, and alcohol. Flavours of cedar, raisin, and brown sugar. Medium body and acidity with medium-plus tannins.
  
  This was a perfect example of a wine opening up. On day 1, I was prepared to dump this, even after 3 hours. The notes above were from day 2.
