  September 8, 2019 - This wine was a clear, deep purple right to the rim. Aromas included pronounced fruit—particularly blackberry—and chocolate. The wine had medium-minus acidity and tannins with bold body and a medium finish. Alcohol was largely absent, which was surprising at 14.5% ABV. Flavours were pronounced and included blackberry, a bit of forest floor, and cola. The wine was very smooth and easy to drink. It was good at the $36 CAD paid but would be a stretch at the normal sale price of $50.
  
  Costco carries the Stag's Leap Artemis for around $70. If it's still available in October I'll give that a try.
