  September 15, 2019 - Pale gold colour. Indistinct aromas. It is a surprisingly heavy wine with a high glycerine content but has enough acidity to balance it. The flavours are a bit indistinct but it is slightly oaked giving it a vanilla after taste. If I had tasted this blind I would have guessed a Mersault style burgundy. It was not at all what I had expected from Sicily - obviously an international style. Despite it all it was a pleasant glass of wine and paired quite well with chicken satay.
