  September 18, 2019 - Good color and clarity, nose had some initial funk which blew off quickly. It took a full hour for the nose to really open up and reveal that cedar and graphite profile. Medium bodied, lovely smooth texture, perfect balance with persistence to the finish. a lovely mature bottle of Bordeaux. I happened to have opened an excellent bottle of 1970 Cheval Blanc last month and have to say well stored bottles of top 1970s seem to be as peak as one could ask.
