  September 21, 2019 - Consumed over 3 days, vacuvined and refrigerated, note from day 3. Nose: Medium-plus expressiveness, classic cabernet characteristics - earthy dark fruit - black cherry, blackberry, and plum with eucalyptus and tobacco. Palate: full bodied, dark fruit attack with subtle tobacco and leather undertones thru the mid-palate though surprisingly thin, tobacco, leather, and spicy notes dominate the back-end. Finish: Medium length, 30-45 seconds, showing dark fruit - blackberry and plum, leather, and spice. The mid-palate thinness, typical of many Sonoma cabernets from my experience, slightly detracts from an otherwise exceptional experience here.
