September 22, 2019 - Deep ruby with a garnet rim, this wine had aromas of blackberry, tomato, mild black pepper, oak, leather, and chocolate. Acidity and tannins were medium and alcohol was absent, with bold body and a long finish. Flavours were of blueberry, leather, oak, and a hint of cola.
The oak and leather remain on the palate for 30 seconds or more. A developing complexity would give this a higher score. The tannins are nice but could stand to smooth out a bit. The wine was great now but is only going to improve over the next 2-5 years.2 people found this helpful 2,195 views

You have given me confidence for this vintage lasting into 2021.
