  September 27, 2019 - There is a good reason why I think this is the best qpr wine from all of loire valley after Domaine Huet and this bottle did not fail to deliver. At first the wine was a bit reserved but with a 30 min decant a lot of classic loire valley cab franc notes. The Green bell pepper, red fruits with a bit of blue, fine grained tannins, and earthy compost notes. Based on the description it may sound very generic but what sets this wine apart is the intensity, precision, and balance in which it delivers all of those components. This is a very fine example of a classic expression executed with near perfection. It is great now but there is no rush should still hold 5 years no problem in my opinion.
