  September 27, 2019 - I have had previous vintages of this wine and although they were well structured with refined tannins they were for the most part not memorable. The 2016 vintage is by far the best I have ever had from Fonroque. I served it at a large wine gathering that was attended by knowlegeable wine people and it got rave reviews.
  
  Well structured wine with blackberry/raspberry notes and a great mineral laced finish.

  9/28/19, 9:06 AM - Hi Swestpha, completely agree with you, in particular on the mineral laced finish and the good structure of this Fonroque. I also found it to be remarkably fresh for a right-banker.
