  October 2, 2019 - Medium brick red. Delicate nose. This Rioja riserva is now a grand dame at more than 35 years. Still drinking smoothly with firming acidity, sour cherry on palate, some plum on the medium long finish. Does not have the complexity of an aged Bordeaux. But a good example of a great vintage in Spain.
