October 4, 2019 - Much like the 2005 Bordeaux vintage, I’ve found most of the 2010’s still very tight and displaying gritty tannins, even with decanting. This falls in line with that observation as well my prior tasting notes and comments. This is a great wine, still in development and can easily cellar for another 4-5 years, maybe longer. The structural components of fruit, oak, and structure are still strong, but still shows rough edges. Begs for a big meal comprised of red meat.
