I was right to begin with but as one of my fellow CT reviewers notes, air is this wine's friend. Dare I say it, this may have even benefitted from a decant! As it opened in the glass (no doubt as every Burgundian will tell you) the wine starts to come together and takes on the elegance of great Burgundy from a great producer in a great vintage. In the end, this is an extremely underrated Roumier.
