  October 12, 2019 - Prior bottle was nearly 11 months ago and this wine continues to show quite well. Red cherry, raspberry, floral and earth notes on the nose with just a touch of vanilla now and again. Medium bodied and the flavor profile remains red cherry and red raspberry upfront (with brightness), greater depth through the middle and more raspberry and then a backside with tart red cherries, red berries, acidity and fine grained tannins. Balance through the mid-body remains a plus as does the mix of fruit and structure throughout. Based on these consistent notes, the wine is at peak, but with more than enough fruit and acidity to continue to drink at this level for several more years. Next bottle for me will be June/July 2020.
