  October 12, 2019 - Bought these back in 2015, had yet to open one. I opened this yesterday so it's had time to slow ox on the counter. Love the aromatics here, as they show the mix of lavender, pepper, blood. The core of the wine and its texture has softened up since yesterday, shedding some of the structure and becoming more open textured with aeration. Soy sauce, blue and red fruit, tar and some sweet leather. In sum, this is really built well and is aging nicely. Thinking about a drinking window on this wine, I'd think this will settle in well over the next several years and shed more of the fruit and let some of the savory qualities take over. Very good.
