October 15, 2019 - Appearance : pale ruby, with legs
On nose : medium+ intensity, red fruit : cranberry, strawberry, leafiness, peppery spiciness, subtle
Of vanilla oak.
On palate : dry, a bit rustic, med acidity, medium intensity, med body, sweet cherry candy, cranberry, peppery spiciness, med alcohol, soft tannin, with unexpectedly long finishing.
Overall speaking is a good wine, much more complexity than the “Yarra Valley”. This wine got very significant cherry sweetness on front and mid palate. As a new world Pinot, I fully enjoy this. I suggest to drink it now in order to enjoy its remarkable red fruit flavour. Good match with marinated chicken or duck. Cheers!660 views
