October 15, 2019 - Tasted over two days. Well...I do not understand the reviews or scores here, average of 86.3 at the time of this note. While not the same quality as other vintages, the 2001, for example, it does not lack for substance, range, structure, and balance. Pure Rioja, and likely to improve. Let it rest a few years. 90-91.
