  October 17, 2019 - My first wine from this producer. Decanted three hours.
  
  This is a very approachable style of Barbaresco and is clearly made to be accessible young. There's plenty of the classic red cherry fruit, roses and tar that you'd hope to find in this corner of Piedmont along with some grippy tannin and well managed acidity. In Barbaresco terms, the wine is relatively soft and approachable and I don't think this has the structure for long-term aging, but whatever. It is what it is which is a good quality, good value accessible Barbaresco which is delicious today. Enjoy it over the next few years while waiting for your other 2014s to come around.
