  October 23, 2019 - This just keeps getting better and better. Still Burgundian in style and weight, but has added a tremendous amount of depth and focus over the past few years. So silky in texture. Shows a piercing intensity on the mid-palate along with a lively acidity. The long, mouth-watering finish is drenched in ripe, tangy cherry and raspberry fruit. Hints of spice and mineral linger gently. So harmonious, fresh and delicious. A beautiful "old school" Brunello from an often overlooked vintage, and an absolute steal at under $30 a bottle.
