October 26, 2019 - I love Raul Perez but this wine in this vintage was not showing too well. A little thin and lacklustre, very simple. Not bad but nothing of interest either

11/8/19, 3:40 PM - I have gone through almost 2 cases of this and have found a considerable amount of bottle variation. A few bottles have been poor. A few have been very good (90-92 pts on my scale). Most are middling (88-89 points), but not objectionable.

11/9/19, 12:34 PM - Just finished another bottle last night. Drank it over 2 days. Day 1 was a bit astringent and "thin," as you refer. Day 2 was lovely. Day 3 suffering a bit, but considerably fuller. An "interesting" wine. I might hold 3 or 4 for a while and see what they do.
