  October 28, 2019 - Still a fairly dark hue of purple/red. Classic nose of dark fruits & cedar/pencil shavings. Blackberry, blueberry, and plum skin on the palate, with a hint of higher-toned Tuscan acidity that fades soon. Has an elegant stately oak presence that blends seamlessly into the fruit, not a hair out of place. Velvet tannins. Silky smooth, effortlessly balanced, this oozes class. Fades somewhat on day two, probably best to drink soonish.
