  October 26, 2019 - In magnum format, this was at it's absolute peak. Beautifully juicy, excellent acidity, impressive weight and depth, and perfect balance between the fruit and the tertiary notes that are forming. BdM may be the king of Sangiovese, but a great bottle of Il Carbonaione, like this one, makes a strong play to steal the crown.
