  November 2, 2019 - Juicy acidity and great balance. Needed two hours of air to shine and then blossomed with Zindandel's signature bramble and spice. Since I drink a lot of Bedrock and Carlisle how does this wine compare? I would say closer to Bedrock in terms of moderation/balance/alcohol and closer to Carlisle in terms of polish and sheer beauty. L-M do not use new oak, so one gets a very pure expression of Mountain Zinfandel, with notes of black pepper, smoked paprika to go along with the Zinfandel raspberry bramble. Youthful maturity, likely can go longer but great right now!
