  November 9, 2019 - This needs time. Initially hot, choppy and alcoholic. After 3 hours open that mellowed and actually transformed into something pretty elegant. Dark brooding black fruit, clove, nutmeg, and tobacco upfront. A slight bit of game and a whole lot of minerals finish it off. It’s wound so tightly the midsection has completely vanished. Not as immediate as other vintages and in need of 5 years. Primal but so good.
