  November 12, 2019 - Given no reviews in the last few months I thought it appropriate to open and evaluate this wine. 3 hour decant and open along side a 2014 Kamen and a 2016 Turnbull Black Label this wine more than held its own. My impressions were of a nicely balanced, smooth, well integrated (for a youngster) wine. Nothing out of place, nice red fruit front end, beautiful glycerin laden mid palette and decent finish that improved with air. Could have used a touch more acid IMO but hey I'm being super critical but that's what I expect from a good CT review.
  
  Easy 94. BTW All 3 wines tonight were in the 94-95 range. Life's a bitch

  11/12/19, 7:55 PM - Agree completely, pal. All 3 wines evenly matched and well represented. If we drank only these we could die happy.....The only negative to this one was the limited acidity noted. Curiously after 3 hours or so it seemed to pick up a bit. The fruit was awesome, the most red of the evening. Just a great choice of wines for the evening. Thanks!
