Community Tasting Note

November 14, 2019 - I liked this a good deal better than the Tondonia from the same vintage. This has a very classic build showing driving acids behind lots of matured in wood notes. There is some oxidation mixed in with leather and spice cabinet. Unfolding complexity. Different hints at different times. The finish is a good deal tart and the fruit not super fresh. I'd have to disagree that this needs more time. The fruit density really isn't here for that and it's already drinking fairly maturely. I just don't think this the vintage to be aging. This is one to drink while the better vintages age.

11/16/19, 6:11 PM - I would personally not decant this. This is quite open and ready. I also prefer to watch wines unfold in the glass and sitting on the table if I am able. But I popped and poured and found this quite friendly. It did express itself differently as it took in air.
