November 18, 2019 - When PnP, intense notes of plum and barnyard leaped out of the glass. It has high acidity, matched with intense flavours of plum, cassis, vanilla and earthiness. After 3 hours of aeration, flavours become very harmonised. The high acidity is well balanced by sweet spice, cassis, smoke, meat, salinity, vanilla and cedar notes. The tannins are completely resolved. Finish is long and sweet. Not the most complete or complex Pessac Leognan, but quite good considering the price.
