  November 23, 2019 - Beautiful, very dark purple. 1 hour decant. Nose has cherry, smoke, alcohol, cassis and boysenberry. Palate is silky smooth, loaded with blue and purple fruits, dry and acidic. Tannins slowly ramp, then accelerate into a bold, long finish. This wine can stand up to blackened food, cumin chili, and other sharper flavors. After 3 hours in decanter, adds layers of flavor, showing elegance and class well worth its price. Fun enough to drink now but I will try to wait 3-5 more years before drinking another bottle.
