  November 29, 2019 - This was enjoyable. I fancied a glass of red so decanted this and had a glass immediately. A bit stemmy and oak driven initially in the glass but a few swirls and things improved rapidly. Proceeded to drink slowly over the next six hours (watching rugby and catching up on football) and it blossomed! This has loads of upside but a solid value for money experience imo. I’ve got plenty of top end Penfolds in the cellar but this is a reliable entry point wine and has never let me down. I have a couple of cases of this so a good exploratory experience and I will drink one a year to see where we at at.
