  December 7, 2019 - Lots of legitimate reasons for why this is rated so highly: silky and smooth mouthfeel, highly aromatic, balanced black fruits and well integrated structure, developing complexity, and an intense long finish. After lots of early disappointment in being blown away with overwhelming over the top fruits, I’ve held back on many 2012’s. After seven years, they seemed to have shed much of their youthfulness, and are hitting on all cylinders! This is an impressive wine; hard to gauge its longevity, but I’m guessing, it’s good for at least another 4-5 years. Excellent!
