December 8, 2019 - Decanted for sediment (recommended) Deep purple center to the edge. Dark cherry, black currents at first with some bright red fruit to follow. As time went on, a little spice. Began with rich, red fruit, tasting like a good, well-aged cab. A bit of oak prominent to start. Long finish with lingering Zin flavors. As this opened up (over 2 hours) it developed into a classic Geyserville with baking spice/zin profile. This is a real beauty just coming into its own. Drink (with decant) or hold as usual. 71% Zin, 7% Petit Sirah, 2% Mouverdre and 1% Alicante Bouchet.
