December 6, 2019 - Reddish purple in the glass. Perfumed nose of violets, anise, dark berries, licorice, tobacco, forest floor and herbal elements. Superior depth and concentration on the palate, with big energy and freshness to go with silky yet powerful tannins. Stays full bodied throughout, but without any significant weight. Huge mineral steak on an extremely long finish. Structured for a long life. This really should be allowed to age for another few years at least to get the most out of it. If not, give it 12 hours of air.
