  December 7, 2019 - Blackberry, tobacco, black pepper, menthol and dank earth dominate the nose. The palate still has plenty of dark fruit, but is definitely starting the transition to tertiary flavors of mushrooms and coffee. The mid palate is a bit more hollow than I would ideally like, but the overall balance is excellent. It is more medium than full bodied, without the massive depth of some of the newer vintages. Big time earthy and mineral driven flavors. Good purity and a long way to go here, but it may be near its peak for my palate. Finish is a bit shorter than ideal, but still enjoyable.
