December 16, 2019 - Signs of seepage. Cork was slightly stained but visually, there is no sign of oxidation.
Colour is a very pale lemon
Aromas of toasted oak, a slight burnt match note, and lots of citrus.
Foreboding palate, lots of life and a piquant quality that wasn’t especially to my taste, but i salute the originality. Very citrusy finish, along with oak, but more the oak toast than any flavour or texture imparted by it. The wine was very steely and crip, not flabby at all, but something in the finish reminded me of oak toast.

This has many years left, however i doubt there is much upside to look forward to.
    Drink or hold to 2023.
