  December 18, 2019 - #2 of 12. As noted in my bottle earlier this year I decanted this 4 hours ahead of dinner. The 80s marked the return of Château Margaux to greatness for many collectors, the 86 is clearly a fine example of what this Château can produce. Dark, rich and complex, full bodied, fine tannins, layers of fruit, perfect balance, long lingering finish. Still shows Margaux elegance even in this harder vintage. Clearly in early maturity, this wine will get better for the next decade and remain there for another.
