August 17, 2019 - 37 years old. Great vintage. Mahogany. Semiopaque. Fully mature with a typical aged cabernet nose. Gentler and more feminine than other first growths I have tried with softer tannins.The bouquet is beautiful, changeable and complex. Great balance, great length. Intense concentrated fruit. Blackcurrant,blueberries,blackberry,cherry,earth,manure,roses and herbs. Hope to try another in the next few years.Drunk at Tetsuyas, Sydney.NS
