December 24, 2019 - Decanted for two hours. Deep, ripe plum, sandalwood, blackberry, chocolate pudding, camphor, pine and salty granite. Exceptionally layered, dense and long, with a very full body and personality. So much to say, yet reserved at the same time. The tannins are of velvet. There’s a fine beam of acidity, yet so much volume, with the proper bass notes. Legendary. This will out last many people reading this today. I am absolutely smitten and cannot find a single flaw. Along with the ‘09, this is absolutely epic - yet more refined than the mammoth ‘09. Drink 2027 -.
