December 26, 2019 - Decanted two hours. Dark purple still as expected. This is a little more one dimensional than the 2006 I’ve been drinking. I expected the 07 to be better. Very smooth and the fruit quite muted. Nice layering with a medium finish. Probably splitting hairs between the 06 and 07. Don’t get me wrong, this is still a great wine.
