Community Tasting Note

  January 1, 2020 - Decided to take notes for a minimum of 6 days on the same bottle. Each tasting would conclude by returning the bottle to the cellar for storage at 54 degrees.
  
  PNP The evening of Friday Dec 27th. Lovely floral nose with dark chocolate covered cherry's on the palate. Restrained with underling finesse. With air the wine opens up within the glass for the first few hours and is very enjoyable. Sat through Wednesday was a evolution of high quality fruit with acids that ever so slightly melt away with each day. The garnet color stayed consistent in purity. You cannot go wrong enjoying this wine now with a long decant but I think the best window is years away as this showed no signs of falling off even after 6 days.

From what I hear it’s becoming more difficult to find at a decent price. I’ve yet to try any VHR vintage, so I’m taking you and Ryan’s recommendation on the wine... with complete confidence!

  1/23/20, 7:27 AM - Tyfabes- So it was a gift from Odette for being apart of their pursuit society. I found a link for the Cade but not Odette. Maybe give them a call as I'm sure they have them for all their brands.
