January 4, 2020 - Oxidized. All 3 bottles purchased at the estate in Lebanon were oxidized. Chateau storage is probably not great. Still, I won’t buy older Musar white anymore.

3/17/22, 3:53 AM - Without meaning to be flippant, this is an oxidative style wine and it is something that should be expected - white musar is always like that, much like lopez de heredia rioja blanco.

If you have any more, I would recommend a long decant (like a whole day), and don't drink it too cold. Cellar temperature is about right. That should coax the fruit out.

8/26/22, 12:57 PM - Thanks. I'm aware of the style, and am comfortable distinguishing between oxadative style and oxodized to the point it presents as flawed. This was the latter. I have had quite a few vintages of this wine, some more than 20 years old, and to my taste, it is not a wine that ages well much beyond 10 years, unlike the red Musar.
