January 8, 2020 - The 2013 Valandraud Blanc has a clean and powerful bouquet with notes of orange blossom, vanilla, honeysuckle, mango and which blend seamlessly with oak. On the palate it is clear, dense and juicy, with lovely notes of apricots, oranges, crème brûlée, mango and slightly angry notes. The beautiful, ripe acidity carries it well, medium to full body. Wood and acidity are wonderfully integrated, a really nice, balanced and drinkable white Bordeaux that is now a lot of fun to drink. Should not be enjoyed too cold. 12-15 degrees are no problem, but pleasure increasing. 91/100
