  January 19, 2020 - Fuligni Vertical (Ancaster, ON): This pours lighter in color than the 06 and 07 poured next to it, fully transparent. The nose is difficult on this today showing notable reduction and green notes. Aromas of rubber, shrubby bushes, green tree leaves, red cherry, and plum round out the profile. Pleasant on it's own I'm sure, but on this night it was greatly outshone. The palate is more titanic than the 06 and 07 with noted astringency. Again a pleasant wine.
